In a recent turn of events, reality TV personality Shannon Beador, known for her appearances on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," found herself in a precarious situation this weekend as she was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and a hit-and-run incident in Southern California.

Law enforcement sources have disclosed to TMZ that the incident occurred on Saturday night when Beador reportedly drove her vehicle onto a residential property in Newport Beach. Shockingly, she even clipped a house during this ill-fated maneuver.

Following the collision, Beador attempted to regain her composure by returning to the road. However, instead of pulling over and assessing the damage, she parked her vehicle haphazardly in the middle of the street and exited the car with her dog in tow.

Upon receiving a 911 call regarding the incident, the police promptly arrived on the scene. In an attempt to evade suspicion, Beador purportedly acted as though she was merely taking a leisurely stroll. Unfortunately for her, her condition appeared to betray her, as she displayed clear signs of intoxication. Consequently, she was taken into custody by law enforcement officers.

In addition to her arrest, the police also impounded Beador's car as part of their ongoing investigation into the damage inflicted on the residential property.

A spokesperson for the Newport Beach Police Department has confirmed that Beador has been booked on two misdemeanor charges—hit-and-run and DUI related to alcohol. She was subsequently cited and released without being required to post bond. It's important to note that Beador was not engaged in filming for Bravo, as the show is currently not in production.

Shannon Beador's recent troubles come amidst what has been a tumultuous year for the reality star. In January, she publicly discussed her painful breakup with her boyfriend of three and a half years, John Janssen, further adding to the challenges she has faced in 2023.
