ENHYPEN attracts about 1000 people at Japan\

Korean boy group ENHYPEN held an event to commemorate the release of their 1st Japanese album "Destiny" (released on the 26th) at Roppongi Hills Arena, Tokyo on the 27th. This was the first offline event in Japan since their debut in Korea in November 2020, and they performed for the first time in front of Japanese fans.

ENHYPEN, which was born in the audition program "I-LAND", is a seven-member group consisting of JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI. The only Japanese member, NI-KI, called out, "Good evening. We're ENHYPEN. Nice to meet you! The song we're about to perform is a positive song that starts with a sprinting guitar cut. Please listen to it." The song "Make the change" was performed, and a refreshing singing voice resounded.

JAY said in fluent Japanese, "Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to participate." HEESEUNG said, "We have prepared a lot for the first offline showcase in Japan, so please enjoy it together."

After meeting ENGENE (ENHYPEN fans) in Japan for the first time offline, JUNGWON said, “Until now, I have only had the opportunity to meet ENGENE online, but meeting everyone in person like this has given me many opportunities. I'm happy that everyone came. I'm really honored and happy to be in the same space." SUNOO said, "I'm also very excited and happy. The time we spend together is like a dream. I really miss ENGENE."

NI-KI, who made a triumphant return, said, "Meeting ENGENE, I really feel that I've come to Japan. I'll do my best to put on a cool performance on stage where everyone is watching, so I'll do my best until the end. Please enjoy yourself,” he said enthusiastically.

Regarding the first live performance in Japan, SUNGHOON said, "It's a pity that we can't shout out the cheers yet, but everyone gave us their best applause and waved their penlights, so we could feel everyone's feelings and enthusiasm. Thank you. JAKE sent a passionate message, "Today, I'm making eye contact with ENGENE a lot, and I can feel everyone's love."

Regarding the new song "Make the change" that was performed in front of the fans for the first time, NI-KI said, "It's the first time we've performed in front of the fans, but I think all seven of us practiced so hard." I was nervous, but I wanted to show everyone the stage of 'Make the change', so I was very happy," each said with a sense of accomplishment.

In the showcase, they also performed the title track of the same album, "Future Perfect (Pass the MIC) [Japanese Ver.]". It attracted about 1,000 visitors.

ENHYPEN will hold a total of 6 performances in Japan from November on their first world tour "ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'MANIFESTO' in JAPAN" at Nippon Gaishi Hall in Aichi, Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, and Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa.
